Handguns 101

This course provides a solid foundation of pistol shooting skills. Designed for shooters with little to no previous experience with the handgun, this course covers gun safety, marksmanship fundamentals, and core pistol control. Our time proven instructional techniques combine class room instruction with practical live fire application to provide a highly effective learning experience.

  Ammo: BYOA (Bring your own ammo) 200 rounds handgun ammunition; 9mm (9x19) is the minimum caliber for this course.

Program Information 

• Classes will begin at 6:00PM and will be held at Long Shot Pistol and Rifle Range- Secaucus, NJ
• No gear will be included within the session 

About your Instructor

• Albert Timen is a veteran Israeli Special Operations Group, and a world class Tactical and
  Combat Shooting Instructor. He brings over 20 years of active service in special operations with tactical and security training from various duties he carried along his career. He served as an undercover operator in
  one of the IDF's (Israeli Defense Forces) Counter Terrorism special units, Police S.W.A.T.
  unit, tactical firearms and operational (SWAT) instructor at the Israeli National Police
  Academy.
  Albert is also recipient of the Chief of Staff Award, for successfully arresting a "live"
  suicide bomber in progress which was strapped with explosives and ready to execute
  the bombing. He also received the distinguished service award and numerous
  commendations for his actions in the line of duty. Albert is a Master Firearms Instructor
  with a vast experience in the Military, Police, Government and private sector training.

After the successful completion of the Handguns 101, the instructor will award participants with a Certificate of Completion which shows that they have successfully passed all tiers of the course.
